William is a podiatrist with specialist interests in lower limb biomechanics, sports injury management and complex foot pain.
Originally from New Zealand, he holds a postgraduate qualification in Podiatric Medicine and has extensive experience working with both elite and recreational athletes, including professional footballers and international competitors.
William’s clinical work focuses on the assessment and management of:

• Heel pain and plantar fasciitis
• Running-related injuries
• Forefoot pain including bunions and Morton’s neuroma
• Paediatric foot conditions
• Nail pathology including ingrowing toenails
• Verrucae and dermatological foot conditions
• Arthritis-related foot pain
He combines detailed biomechanical assessment with gait analysis, structured rehabilitation, orthotic therapy and, where appropriate, injection treatments to provide comprehensive lower limb care.
William has a particular interest in identifying the underlying mechanical drivers of pain and designing individualised treatment plans aimed at long-term resolution rather than short-term symptom relief.

Background
A former international rower, William represented New Zealand at World Championship level. His continued involvement in endurance sport and strength training informs his clinical approach to performance and rehabilitation.

William maintains a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. His postgraduate research has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research, and he continues to engage with current developments in lower limb medicine and rehabilitation.
