The in-house physiotherapy service has been provided by the team from Harley Street Physiotherapy for many years. This clinic is situated within the law firm and is only for employees of the firm.
We offer an on-site service in our specialist physiotherapy clinic and utilise the gym to help you work on recovering from work injuries, sporting injuries and get you back to your best!
Here’s how to book:

Contact AXA online, by phone or through your AXA app to obtain an approval code for your physiotherapy sessions.
They may provide the code without a doctor's referral or may direct you to your GP. -
Let AXA know you want to receive physio via Harley Street Physiotherapy on-site at LL (Clinic code : ZZ05189)

Bring along any reports or letters to your first visit with our physios.

First Appointment
At your first appointment, our expert physiotherapists will take a thorough history of your problem and ask detailed questions about the behaviour of your symptoms and relevant medical history. Your physio will then observe, examine, and test various movements and structures to diagnose your problem and establish the cause of your symptoms.A treatment plan will be discussed with you and implemented to get you back to normal, pain-free movement as soon as possible and to help prevent the problem from occurring again.
Please remember to bring any relevant information, such as scans, X-rays or medical reports, with you for your first appointment if you have them.
We welcome private patients from around the world who are looking to receive care at our clinic in Marylebone. Whether you are funding your own care or are sponsored by your local embassy, we’ll help with every stage of your treatment journey.

Please allow time to arrive or park and register at reception before you appointment.

Provide us with any letters or scan results unless you have already uploaded them.

Dress in loose and appropriate clothing. You may need to remove some outer clothing, so please wear something you are comfortable with.

Bring shorts for lower limb conditions and running shoes or trainers.

Self Referral
Many patients refer themselves and come to the practice via word of mouth from the personal recommendation of others or from health professionals.
All you need to do is call and book an appointment unless you wish to use health Insurance, in which case see below.

Payment

We accept cash, cheque (made payable to Harley Street Physiotherapy Limited or HSPL for short) and all major credit and debit cards for those without private health insurance or with an excess to pay. You can also pay via online banking.

Prepayment is required before each appointment for self-pay and insured clients*. Receipt of payment confirms your appointment.

Telephone bookings – an online card link will be emailed for payment. Follow-on appointments can be prepaid in clinic by card or via the online card link.

Receipted invoices are issued for you to claim back from your insurers.

*Bupa and AXA treatments will be billed directly.
-
Rescheduled / cancelled appointments with 24 hours notice – prepayment will be allocated to your new appointment or refunded if no further appointment.

Late cancellations or missed appointments are non refundable. (see our cancellation / missed appointment policy)

Payments can be made via an emailed card link (ClearAccept), card machine in clinic (or BACS on request) . We are not accepting cash or cheque at present.

Bupa and AXA patients. You must supply your policy number and authorsiation code before your first appointment for us to bill Bupa or AXA. Otherwise self pay rates will apply and payment at appointment required.. You will also be invoiced for any policy excess or non payments advised by Bupa or AXA.
Cancellation Policy

There will be a charge for non-attendance or less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation. Please be sure to notify us in good time if you are no longer able to attend a booked appointment.

A full 24 hours notice* of cancellation or appointment change. ( * by 10 am on Saturdays latest for a Monday appointment) is requested.

Missed or late cancellations whether a self pay or health insurance appointment will be charged to you.

Please note Insurers do not reimburse under these circumstance.

Health Insurance
The practice is recognised by all major health insurance companies and all of our physiotherapists are HCPC Registered.
It is necessary to ring the insurance company before the first appointment and they will advise if:-
A doctor's referral is required

There is an excess to be paid

There is a limit on the number of sessions covered and/or an excess to be paid.
