Hand Therapy
Hand Therapy specialises in injuries to the hand, wrist and forearm from chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and repetitive strain injuries, to post-operative rehabilitation of trauma and elective conditions such as Carpal Tunnel, Dupuytrens release, tendon and nerve repairs, volar plate injuries and fractures.
Our treatments are carried out by our specialist physiotherapists who will carry out a thorough assessment and treatment plan which is tailored to the individual to maximize recovery and a functional return back to their normal routine. The treatment that we provide ranges from, thermoplastic splinting, scar management, exercise therapy, manual therapy, acupuncture and education surrounding the injury / condition with a view to returning to normalised functional movement of the affected hand and wrist.
