Midfoot arthritis occurs when the joints in the middle of the foot deteriorate due to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or previous injuries. It can cause stiffness, pain, and difficulty walking. Most cases can be managed with orthotics, physiotherapy, and lifestyle modifications.
