With over 18 years of experience, Phil uses a therapeutic practice that integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to address specific unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, Clinical Hypnosis to explore deep-seated issues and Mindfulness techniques to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation, ensuring a holistic and effective approach. He is also a Mindfulness, Meditation & Relaxation Coach through the SMART Foundation.
Phil's professional journey has been underpinned by rigorous training from nationally recognised institutions, which are renowned for their excellence. He has completed training at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and received distinctions in all studies at the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Phil has worked previously for 13 years volunteering with the Body & Soul charity to treat vulnerable adults and adolescents who come from diverse and complex backgrounds including abuse, trafficking, HIV and many other emotional and physical challenges. This has developed his focus on anxiety-related disorders, equipping individuals with the necessary tools to navigate life's challenges effectively and create lasting emotional and behavioural transformation.
His extensive training and work has provided Phil with valuable skills to nurture the concepts of awareness, appreciation and compassion, alongside to providing his clients with a secure, confidential and non-judgmental environment where they can embark on their therapeutic journey towards positive change.
